RICCI, DESI & BILLY: REINCARNATION OF A CLASSIC
Ricci, Desi & Billy debuted at the 1999 Malibu Carl Wilson Walk Against Cancer and opened for Alan Jardine's Beach Boys Family & Friends at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas over Thanksgiving, 1999. Follow this link for more information, including a press-release bio. Since their MGM Grand appearance, offers for Ricci, Desi & Billy have been pouring in from all over the country. A CD of live performances by RDB is being prepared for an early 2001 release (see News section below).

Billy Hinsche will be appearing with Bobby Figueroa on LuxuriaMusic's "Heroes & Villains" netradio show on Jan. 27 from 5-7 p.m. ET (2-4 p.m. PT). (1/7/01)
Billy is now part of a group of veteran musicians and singers calling themselves Beach Party! He'll be singing and playing a lot more guitar in this brand new configuration which specializes in Beach Boys material. David Marks personally asked him to be a part of this group. (1/26/01)
The Ricci, Desi & Billy CD Live From Vegas is in the final stages of being assembled (artwork, layout, graphics, etc.) and should be released within a few months. It is a six song, 20 minute set recorded at the MGM Grand Hotel in Las Vegas in November 1999 when the group opened for Al Jardine's Family & Friends. RDB is looking to affiliate with Amazon.com, among others, for direct sale arrangements. (12/27/00)
Billy is writing a book -- an autobiographical account focusing on highlights of his career with Dino, Desi & Billy and the Beach Boys to be called I Got Around. He is actively looking for a major literary publisher. (12/27/00)
Billy has been writing articles and song analyses for Endless Summer Quarterly. Recent contributions include analyses of "Caroline, No" and "Angel, Come Home." "Wild Honey" is slated for a future issue of ESQ. Watch the Writings section of this website for upcoming samples of Billy's ESQ articles (currently under construction). (updated 12/27/00)
Billy is working on a solo CD tentatively titled Mixed Messages, which will include unreleased recordings and demos spanning from the '70s through the '90s. (7/20/00)
Billy organized the talent for the Carl Wilson Walk/Concert held at Calamigos Ranch, Malibu, CA on Sunday, October 8, 2000. Acts appearing included Brian Wilson, Christopher Cross, Robert Lamm, Blondie Chaplin and Ricci Fataar, The Honeys, The Wilsons, Ricci Martin, Michael Angeloff, and Jeffrey Foskett.
